BCS Africa aims to foster connections and collaborations between the African and global web3 ecosystem to build a stronger, more vibrant web3 community in Africa, implemented via periodic top-tier cross-community events, project workshops and bootcamps.

Our strategy is following our mission
With about $105.6B worth of crypto transactions by the end of 2021 and one of the highest P2P volumes, Africa has clearly embraced Cryptocurrencies and Web3 technologies.
The potential exists for Africa to be the home of the largest web3 communities and the hub of the most impactful events. However, one of the biggest problems facing the African web3 community is its relatively weak strength due to community fragmentation, weak global connections and below-par events.
BCS Africa is geared up to unlock Africa’s community of communities with ⤵️

Encourage navigation and experimentation within the African web3 community through resources, culture support, and events such as tech ecosystem tours, hackathons. The goal is to foster relationships between the web3 ecosystem abroad and the ecosystem in Africa, identifying opportunities for collaboration.

This includes connecting community members to web3 projects from around the world, facilitating relationships between organizations or groups working on similar issues, and encouraging dialogue and exchange of ideas within the community and having fun doing so.
